We stay in the top layer of skin to avoid developing keloids and scarring. Implanting inks instead of approved pigments almost always causes a gradual fading to grey or greenish colors. It is not difficult to identify someone who has had a procedure done using tattoo inks. Correcting these jobs are very time consuming and expensive. Do your homework. Check out the technicians’ work station. Is it in a properly ventilated space? It is important to keep your open skin protected from harsh chemicals from services that may be offered in the same area (acrylic nails, hair treatments, tanning, etc…).
